Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
Cream softened butter and brown sweetener together until light and fluffy.
Mix in eggs, vanilla, salt and continue until mixture is well combined.
Add flour and baking soda, in halves, until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
Fold in by hand chips and nuts.
Spread into prepared baking dish. Bake 25 to 35 minutes or until lightly brown and just set in the center.
Let cool and slice into bars.
