One Pan Seared Chicken Thighs with Keto Mushroom Sauce

This is a simple and delicious recipe for Pan Seared Chicken Thighs with Keto Mushroom and Herb Gravy.  This is absolutely delicious dish.  The blend of the fresh herbs, and the butter taste just makes the chicken thighs melt in your mouth (using the Tallow adds a different flavor dimension). This is a easy dish to prepare and great for the entire family keto or not.

Ingredients

Chicken Seasonings

  • 2 tbsp Tallow or Lard
  • 8 Chicken Thighs Boneless and Skinless
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh if possible
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Keto Mushroom Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz Mushrooms Fresh and Sliced
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder or 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp Thyme (fresh)
  • 1 tsp Rosemary (fresh)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • Salt (To Taste)
  • Pepper (To Taste)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese (Shredded) Fresh

Instructions

Pan Seared Chicken Thighs

  • Heat the tallow or lard over medium heat..lay the thighs in a single layer in your skillet. Fry both sides until golden brown. Remove and set aside. 

Making Your Keto Mushroom Herb Sauce

  • Heat the butter in the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté until softened. Add fresh herbs, stirring well. 
  • Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. 
  • Add reserved thighs, and any residual meat drippings. Warm thighs to desired temperature in the gravy. 
  • Serve with cauliflower mash or riced if desired.

Notes

Macro are based on 1 Chicken Thigh with a equal amount of gravy.
