Keto Biscuits & Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage cooked, drained
  • 2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 TB arrowroot flour or 1/2 tsp. xanthan gum
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 2 cups heavy cream

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, bring your sausage up to medium heat. Add seasonings. Sprinkle with arrowroot powder or xanthan gum. Stir to coat the meat.
  • Add in chicken stock, stirring well. Mixture will start to thicken. Reduce heat.
  • Add in heavy cream. Continue to cook on low temperature until slightly thick. Remove from heat to further allow gravy to thicken. Serve over keto biscuits, or food of choice.
