Make this classic keto favorite with creamy, rich sausage gravy served over fluffy, flaky, soft biscuits with just a few simple ingredients!
This Biscuits and Gravy recipe is a favorite in our own household, and a breakfast staple (and who am I kidding, dinner too!).
Savory, creamy sausage gravy smothers flaky, soft, and buttery homemade keto biscuits. Every rich bite absolutely melts in your mouth. It is breakfast heaven!
Biscuits and gravy is a popular southern breakfast dish consisting of soft biscuits covered in a creamy sausage or white gravy. Generally not a low carb dish. But, with a few simple tweaks, it sure can be!
We made this recipe over 8 years ago, and it’s still as delicious as ever!

Keto Biscuits & Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage cooked, drained
- 2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
- 2 TB arrowroot flour or 1/2 tsp. xanthan gum
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 cups heavy cream
Instructions
- In a large skillet, bring your sausage up to medium heat. Add seasonings. Sprinkle with arrowroot powder or xanthan gum. Stir to coat the meat.
- Add in chicken stock, stirring well. Mixture will start to thicken. Reduce heat.
- Add in heavy cream. Continue to cook on low temperature until slightly thick. Remove from heat to further allow gravy to thicken. Serve over keto biscuits, or food of choice.
