This weeks recipe is Brussel Sprouts Caesar Salad.  This is a delicious take on the classic Caesar’s salad but with a more flavorful crunch and hardiness from the Brussels Sprouts.  We pair this with a delicious homemade dressing with just the right amount of zing from the lemons and other flavors.  This recipe is fantastic, and is great for summer BBQ s and family gatherings.

It’s a great way for a fresh salad to accompany your favorite keto entree’s.  The original recipe says it serves 4 people, but honestly because of the hardiness of the brussel sprouts I think that 4 – 6 oz servings would be plenty.  We added a bit of natural sweetener and this enhanced the flavor, and gave you sort of tangy and sweet taste.  This salad got better over time as it sat.

Brussel Sprout Caesars Salad

  • 1 pounds Brussels sprouts Used fresh and trimmed and slice them
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice Used for Zest and Juice
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • Garlic and herb seasoning to taste
  • 3 tsp Dijon mustard Several squeezes
  • 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce Several splashes
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Fresh shaved
  • Squeeze of sweetener if desired Optional


  • Prepare Brussel sprouts (trim and thinly sliced)
  • Zest and juice the lemon. Whisk with olive oil and seasoning, whisk in mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Toss with Brussel sprouts and Parmesan cheese.
  • Chill if desired.
