This recipe is a all About CHAFFLE’S these are sweeping the internet and they are simple to make and delicious.  We show you several ways to use them, because this is a very versatile keto recipe – this might be a Keto game changer!

So, in the last little bit, I’ve had LOTS of questions about……CHAFFLES

You guys, apparently, I have been living in the waffle dark ages, because, chaffles are all the rage right now in Keto land and if you have no idea what a chaffle is, you are in for a delicious surprise . This may just be life changing, or at least keto lifestyle altering as the beloved chaffle is a low carb food that will take your keto recipes to a whole new dimension. From what I understand, the word chaffle is a hybrid of cheese and waffle….Tada, chaffle.😊

It takes just two ingredients, can be made in a matter of minutes, and is super fun for unleashing major creativity!

My sister first alerted me to this new trend, and gifted me with a mini dash waffle maker. You can make this in a full size iron, but the mini is really fun, and quite inexpensive.

A few tips I have learned so far:

1) Thinly sliced cheese is really helpful. I really like the Sargento brand.

2) The less egg you use, the crispier chaffle you will achieve

3) seasonings can be magical (we really enjoy bagel seasoning)

As a final note…..peanut butter on a sweet chaffle is next level, if you’re missing beloved PB&J’s from childhood (or peanut butter and honey in my case) this really hits the spot!

  1. 5 stars
Chaffles are amazing! I used muenster cheese. I believe muenster could go either way, savory or sweet. Made a crispy waffle that totally surprised my wife. We ate them with nothing on them. The crunch and texture are very satisfying. She’s been telling everyone about them ever since we made them.

    1. Hi Paul, we think Chaffles are pretty amazing as well. We had a open faced chicken salad Chaffle for dinner using a rotisserie chicken. Thanks for sharing.
