Keto Cheesy Sausage Puffs

Keto Cheesy Sausage Puffs

This weeks recipe is Keto Cheesy Sausage Puffs. Interestly enough this is a recipe that we found on Delish.com.  Delish.com is not a Keto or low carb site, they are a all types of food website but like many others the popularity of the keto lifestyle even has websites like Delish and Tasty occasionally posting Keto dishes.

Good snacks that are keto friendly can be hard to find.… Sometimes on this lifestyle just meat and cheese or hard-boiled eggs can get a bit boring, especially if you were having a seasonal  bash. These little puffs are like balls of heaven, they’re  really quick and very delicious. These puffs are also incredibly hearty, so you only need two or three to satisfy your appetite.

It’s surprising that there are only a few ingredients in these tasty bite-size puffs ,cheesy and savory, the golden morsels are a fun novelty at a breakfast or brunch… And they also make yummy party appetizers.

These are bound to fly off the platter at parties, they would also be an excellent tailgating idea. The hardest part about making the puffs is cooking the sausage. LOL ….once the sausage is cooked the puffs come together in no time. You can make them any size that you want, but the perfect bite-size is best, in my opinion. If you want bigger puffs, make them bigger. It’s up to you… Just check the cooking time… Bigger puffs might take a minute or two longer to bake.

These would be perfect for holiday parties or Christmas morning. These taste great hot out of the oven or at room temperature… Drizzle with marinara, salsa, or barbecue sauce. CJ really enjoyed them with blue cheese dressing!

We’ve lived with these for several days now, and these are really tasty.  You actually get a lot of crunch from them.  We used them almost like you’d use meatballs with zoodles and pizza sauce (which is generally cheaper and lower in carbs than pasta/spaghetti sauces).  The sauce softened the crunch somewhat.  I can see these being used at a party, in fact I have a office function coming up in December and this will probably be the dish I take.
