Keto Churro Cheesecake Bars
What’s better than a churro? Churro flavored cheesecake! This incredible recipe is made with only a few ingredients and it comes together in minutes. It’s flavored with lots of cinnamon sugar, a buttery flaky crust, and sweet and tangy cream cheese filling.
Churro Cheesecake bars are quick and luscious. These have a sugar cookie base, creamy center and topped with cinnamon and natural sweetener.
Simply divine…. and speaking of simple, aside from a few minutes for crust baking they are also no bake!
This churro cheesecake is not your traditional cheesecake recipe. It’s the combination of two desserts that are great on their own but even better together – classic cheesecake and churros, which are known for being fried in hot oil, dipped in melted butter then rolled in a cinnamon sugar mixture.
What Are Churros?
Churros are a traditional Mexican dessert, made with pastry dough that is quickly deep-fried and then tossed with cinnamon sugar. They’re a very popular street food throughout Mexico.
This recipe swaps the dough for flaky shortbread dough but keeps that classic cinnamon sugar flavor.
This dessert is much easier and low carb lifestyle friendly.

Keto Churro Cheesecake Bars
Ingredients
Crust:
- 1 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1 TB brown natural sweetener
Filling:
- 16 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
- 1 cup powdered natural sweetener
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Topping:
- 2/3 cup granulated natural sweetener
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl combine crust ingredients.
- Press firmly and evenly into a parchment lined 8x8 baking dish.
- Bake 10 minutes. Let cool.
Filling:
- In a medium sized bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sweetener. Add remaining filling ingredients.
- Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Pour over cooled crust, spreading evenly.
Topping:
- After smoothing cheesecake layer. Combine sweetener and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over cheesecake layer. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours, or overnight. Cut into bars for serving. Cinnamon layer will darken and soften.
