Slow cooker steak bites are juicy, fall-apart tender, and flavorful pieces of meat without all the fuss of having to cook a whole steak!

Each bite is tender and juicy, and the au jus is full of savory, beefy flavor. I used already cut and packaged stew meat, and it turned out great! Using less expensive tough cuts are ideal for this recipe.

Slow cooker Steak Bites

A budget friendly great way to to use inexpensive cuts of beef or any meat. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor

  • slow cooker


  • 3 lb steak or stew meat cubed to 1 inch
  • 1 pk au jus mix
  • 1 pk onion soup mix
  • 4 TB butter sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth


  • Cut the steak or beef to 1 inch cubes. Sear on high heat if desired.
  • Place the beef in the bottom of a slow cooker. Sprinkle mixes evenly over meat.
  • Place pats of butter evenly on top. Pour broth over the top.
  • Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
