With a crispy tortilla crust and creamy cheese, these air-fried mozzarella sticks deliver an irresistible meal, snack or appetizer that everyone will love!

Delicately light and crispy, these 3-ingredient mozzarella sticks are so easy to make. Pair them with a side of great marinara and enjoy your game-day, or anytime!

 

one of my children’s most favorite appetizers might just be crispy, gooey mozzarella sticks. They love everything about them… Fresh-out-of-oil-crispness, hot gooey cheese, and, of course, flavorful marinara sauce.

The thing is I’m never motivated to make them myself. Too much work, dipping them into 3 coatings, plus deep-frying. No, thanks!

But this recipe is so easy, they can do it themselves. No hot oil, no mess! Win-win!

  • air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 low carb tortillas taco size
  • 2 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp pizza seasoning
US Customary - Metric

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 325 degrees.
  • Spread melted butter and seasoning inside tortillas.
  • Roll string cheese in the tortillas. tuck in edges. Brush with additional seasoned butter.
  • Cook in air fryer at 325 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove and dip in marinara if desired.
