Chocolate Chip Brownie Heaven Mug Cake

Chocolate chip brownie mug cake, or what CJ calls brownie heaven.
A treat that you can make in your microwave in less than 1 minute! Doesn’t sound believable, does it?

This mug brownie is fudgy, full of chocolate, and pairs amazingly with a bit of whipped cream. Next time those brownie cravings hit, try this one out.

It only takes a minute to cook in the microwave. So simple but decadent, it’ll be the easiest chocolate dessert you’ll ever make.

Craving something chocolatey but don’t want a whole tray of brownies?

This brownie in a mug recipe is so simple, but hits the spot every time. This is also the perfect alternative if I’m out of eggs, as this brownie mug cake is eggless.

It can also be made dairy free using nut milk.

The texture of this mug brownie is soft, fudgy, and chocolatey, just like homemade brownies but made in a fraction of the time.

Our 13- year old daughter is very brownie “particular”, and even she gave this two thumbs way up!

Chocolate Chip Brownie Heaven Mug Cake

This mug brownie is so fudgy, full of chocolate chips, and cooks for 1 minute. What's not to love!

  • 1 microwave safe ramekin greased



  • In a microwave safe greased mug or ramekin, Combine dry ingredients. Reserve a few chocolate chips for topping.
  • Add liquid. Stirring well, scrapping the bottom well. Microwave 45 seconds, or until almost set. Top with remaining chips. Cook additional 15 seconds.
  • Let sit for a few minutes before serving. Top with whipped cream if desired.
