Keto Taco Saucers(Cups)
These taco cups are the perfect appetizer or fun twist on taco night!
Layers of seasoned beef and cheese are baked in layers of beef and cheese are baked in a mini pan, then finished off with your favorite taco toppings.
How cute are these taco saucers? They’re as much fun to make as they are to eat, and make a delicious and hearty snack for any occasion.
Tacos are one of my family’s favorite foods to eat – there are endless ways to mix and match the flavor combinations, and they’re all totally delicious! These taco cups are a fun play on tacos that use a keto friendly wrapping, instead of tortillas.
There’s not a whole lot that can beat a great Taco Tuesday, but these taco cups are a fantastic way to switch things up a bit!
Plus they’re portable, which is awesome if you’re serving these for a party or when you’re tailgating.
Any combination of meats would be great. Breakfast sausage could be substituted for an awesome portable breakfast.
This recipe is a remake of one we made eight years ago. Whew! I can’t believe we’ve been doing this that long!

Keto Taco Saucers(Cups)
Ingredients
- 1.25 cups almond flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp taco seasoning
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 cups Mexican blend cheese divided
- 2 TB cream cheese softened
- 3 eggs
- 2 TB butter melted
Taco Toppings:
- 1 lb ground beef cooked
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
- 2 green onions chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Cook your ground beef and set aside.
- In a bowl combine dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, whisk or blend in food processor eggs, cheese and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Add 1 cup of cheese to form a dough.
- In a muffin tin or silicone ramekin, place a small amount of dough and spread around.
- Prebake dough for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven, and add meat, cilantro, onions, and cheese. Top with more cheese.
- Bake 8 to 10 additional minutes. Top cups with cold taco ingredients if desired.
