What is a fat “bomb”
They’re called “fat bombs,” because they are loaded with fat-rich ingredients, like coconut oil and avocado, that can fill you up fast and satisfy any sweet, nutty craving that might sneak up on you. Fat bombs are essentially energy bites for the keto dieter.
A Few tips:
Peanut butter is what I used here, hence the name…. You could substitute another nut butter if you preferred.
Look for nut butters that are simply ground nuts and salt. Traditional peanut butters have a lot of sugars.
I used chocolate chips ground in my mini food processor, to form “mini” chips. You can use any flavor that you would like… If you have access to peanut butter chips they would be delicious here also.
We garnished with two options…. you could simply leave plain, or dust with confectioners natural sweetener as we did. Additionally, I garnished a few with Fleur De Sel which is large flaky sea salt for that sweet and salty combination. Yummy!
