With the Easter holiday less than a week away, I thought I would put together a few of my all-time favorite Easter recipes that I have made over the years. There’s something here for everyone. Whether you are hosting family or friends, or just enjoying the day by yourself, I’m sure one or two of these ideas will make it into your regular rotation.
And if you do not celebrate Easter, any of these ideas would still make the perfect way to celebrate spring.
No matter what direction you choose to go in, we are sure that your family will be excited to sit down and enjoy these recipes whether they are ketogenic lifestyle lovers or not. And hopefully these ideas will eliminate any holiday stress!
Keto County Ham Au Gratin Bake
So before you get all crazy thinking these are potatoes… No worries I assure you that no potatoes were harmed while making this delicious dish. We substituted the traditional potatoes with turnips. CJ actually took this dish to his office and fooled most of his coworkers, in fact they were shocked they all raved about how delicious the dish was and how surprised they were that it was turnips instead of potatoes.
Cheesy Ham and asparagus bake
We enjoyed this as our Easter meal in 2020. The idea behind this recipe is creating a scrumptious dish that will help you used up your leftover Easter ham. But this would be great to make all year long and it is easy to prepare with minimal ingredients.
Every holiday meal needs a showstopper dessert to top off the celebration. These next selections showcase some of my favorite fruits… Including the beautiful and luscious strawberry. Your family and friends will happily dig in to these keto friendly desserts. And best of all no Easter egg hunt is required for these prized treats.
Orange Creamsicle Poke Cake
Growing up in the 1980s this was a very popular dessert at the time. It’s cool and light and topped with a simple whip cream instead of heavy frosting. What’s also so fantastic about this recipe is that you can change out the flavor of the Jell-O depending on your mood.
Low carb Carrot Cake
Carrots are traditional for Easter
Yes carrots have a few carbs… But eaten in moderation and factored into your daily macros it is a dessert that someone doing keto can enjoy.
And this cake would be a great recipe for any special occasion, not just Easter. It would be a showstopper for birthdays anniversaries and bridal showers.
Keto Strawberry Mountains-cheesecake stuffed strawberries
If you’re looking for something utterly “wow” worthy, but easy and fun, these gorgeous berries are the ticket! Made using the seasons finest pick, these magnificent, creamy treats are sure to satisfy. Top with drizzled chocolate and sit back as the compliments pour in!
